Built side extension on top of garage

First stage

We installed 8 steel beams and soundproofed underneath the extension.

Building the extension

Topped off with a new roof with Velux windows. Inside the extension we installed a new bathroom.

Knocking through into the new extension

On the first floor an extra large doorway had to be cut out of the existing wall and a lintel installed.

We had to plumb in between the void.

Installing doors and electrics

The lamps and the beautiful old Indian doors come from a great supplier.

The lovely fixed wall lamps that you see were unsafe, so our fab electrician took them home, worked on them and made them safe. We also put power points on the floor.

Installing Crittal doors

We had to alter the roof to make room for the Crittal doors.
